a fine collection of annual reports on the management of the training ship ‘Indefatigable’ moored in the Mersey, from the 18th report of 1882 to the 68th of 1933.
the sailing frigate ‘Indefatigable’ was established as a training ship for boys entering life at sea as deck crew in 1865.
The first ship was replaced in 1913 and remained in the Mersey till 1941, before being towed to Anglesey and then being re-established as a shore-based school.
