generally good clean condition with some light foxing, mostly pin-point. old ink doodle to preliminary blank.  in a contemporary full calf binding, rubbed but perfectly sound, with some wear to top and foot of spine.

with a contemporary book-plate of “P.Scott” and note to the front free end-paper “for the use of the ship Matilda”
