not the freshest of copies, and priced accordingly, with some marking and staining (not severe) throughout, in a rather worn, but sound contemporary quarter roan leather binding. apparently lacking any preliminary pages prior to ix (with ix/x bound in at the end, before the Dictionary of Sea Terms), but with the engraved title-page and with all 113 engraved plates present, illustrating in all over 600 figures
