the orginal printing of this very detailed Act of Parliament, passed in 1812, that allowed the construction of London’s famous Regent’s Canal. Work on the canal began in October 1812, with the first section from Paddington to Camden opening in 1816, and the remaining section to Limehouse Basin completed by 1820
